The Vars resort
Vars is organized around several villages and resort sectors, including Vars Sainte-Marie, Vars Sainte-Catherine, Vars Les Claux and Vars Saint-Marcellin, located between approximately 1,650 and 1,850 meters in altitude.
This configuration creates different atmospheres, combining authentic mountain villages with more lively resort sectors. Vars Les Claux forms the heart of the resort, with direct access to the ski lifts.

The Ski Area
Vars is part of the La Forêt Blanche ski area, which stretches from approximately 1,650 to 2,750 meters in altitude.
The slopes alternate between forest sectors, wide sunny mountainsides and more technical high-altitude terrain. The connection with Risoul provides access to a large and varied ski area with numerous route possibilities.
