The resort of Porté-Puymorens
On the border with Andorra and Spain, Porté-Puymorens is a village resort with a decidedly sporty character.
The village has kept its stone houses huddled along a maze of lanes and its 18th-century parish church, right at the foot of the slopes.

The ski area
With 900 metres of vertical, one of the largest in the Pyrenees, the area runs from the village up to 2,471 metres at the top of the Mine chairlift.
Four sectors share the area: the village, La Vignole, Fontfrède and La Mine. Wide groomed pistes on the pass and vast untracked terrain make it one of the best free-ride spots in the range.
Why choose Porté-Puymorens?
It is one of the highest resorts in the Pyrénées-Orientales, with a north to north-east aspect that preserves the snow throughout the season.
A 500-metre snowpark, a half-pipe, a freestyle zone and a timed race run complete the area. The pass also hosts a kite school.
