Resort Information
The Ski Area – A 100% Off-Piste Domain
The La Grave ski area rises up to 3,600 meters in altitude and is accessed via the Glaciers de la Meije cable car. Unlike traditional ski resorts, the domain features virtually no marked ski runs across most of the mountain.
Descents follow natural mountain itineraries through glaciers, couloirs, bowls and alpine valleys. Every route is unique and depends on snow conditions and the technical ability of the skiers.
La Grave is considered one of the world’s most legendary freeride and off-piste destinations.
Why choose La Grave?
La Grave offers a truly unique atmosphere far removed from the standards of modern ski resorts. There is no mass tourism here, only an authentic mountain environment dedicated to committed skiing and alpine culture.
The village attracts an international community of skiers, mountain guides and freeride enthusiasts brought together by a shared passion for high mountains.
