In the heart of the Capcir plateau, Formiguères has kept its Catalan soul: stone houses, lloses roofs, a bell-gable church and narrow lanes.
The resort has two hubs: the village at 1,500 metres and the foot of the slopes at 1,700 metres, where the lifts start.

The area has 19 runs spread over 65 hectares of forest, with 700 metres of vertical. Its north-facing aspect keeps the snow in good condition all winter.
Ten hectares are set aside for off-piste, and a boardercross starts from the red run L'Aigle. A covered magic carpet shelters beginners on the Calmazeille sector.
