Resort Information
The Ski Area
Cauterets is built around two complementary ski areas.
The Cirque du Lys, the main area, stretches from around 1,730 meters to 2,450 meters in altitude. It offers varied skiing, with sporty runs, steeper slopes, and sectors appreciated by advanced skiers, while still providing accessible areas for progression.
The Pont d’Espagne, wilder and more natural, is mainly dedicated to cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and outdoor activities, set in one of the most beautiful sites in the Pyrenees.
This complementarity makes Cauterets a destination where alpine skiing and mountain exploration naturally go hand in hand.
Why choose Cauterets?
Cauterets stands out for its lively mountain atmosphere, driven by its vibrant village, sunny terraces, restaurants, and historic thermal baths. The resort combines a sporty and friendly spirit, ideal for stays mixing skiing, relaxation, and discovery.
The natural setting, dominated by peaks and waterfalls, enhances the unique character of the destination.
