The Autrans-Méaudre resort
Set in the heart of the Vercors range, less than an hour from Grenoble, Autrans-Méaudre is a two-village resort. It stays alive all year round, with local shops and an authentic atmosphere.
It is one of France’s cross-country skiing capitals, and also offers a family-friendly alpine area, biathlon, ski touring and a giant zip line.
Resort information
The ski area
The alpine area covers two complementary sectors: La Sure on the Autrans side and Le Châtelard / La Forêt on the Méaudre side. One pass covers both, and a free shuttle links the two villages for pass holders.
The Autrans sector, ten minutes from the village centre, opens onto views of the Vercors, Belledonne and Mont Blanc, with runs winding between spruce trees. The Méaudre sector, in the heart of the village, offers wide runs through the woods, ideal for beginners.
Please note: chairlifts can be used alone from 1.25 m tall. Below that, children must be accompanied by an adult.
Why choose Autrans-Méaudre?
Autrans-Méaudre is above all for families and nature lovers. Children’s areas, easy runs and a village atmosphere make learning to ski relaxed, while stronger skiers find good slopes and open views.
The resort also stands out for everything beyond alpine skiing: a vast cross-country area, biathlon, and a 1,250-metre giant zip line with 250 metres of descent, reached from the Méaudre sector.
