Chamonix Mont-Blanc Resort
Located at around 1,035 meters in altitude, Chamonix stretches along the valley between Les Houches and Argentière, with several villages and districts that make up the resort. This layout gives Chamonix a unique identity, both lively, international, and deeply rooted in mountain culture.
The resort retains a strong sense of authenticity, shaped by the history of mountaineering, an active local community, and a dynamic atmosphere throughout the year. Shops, restaurants, cultural facilities, and sports infrastructure make Chamonix a complete destination, both in summer and winter.

The Ski Area
Chamonix Mont-Blanc does not offer a single ski area, but several distinct ski domains spread along the valley, each with its own identity. The main sectors are Les Grands Montets, Brévent–Flégère, Le Tour–Balme, and Les Houches.
Skiing ranges from around 1,000 meters to over 3,200 meters in altitude, offering an exceptional diversity of terrain. You’ll find both accessible slopes and technical routes, as well as high-mountain descents, all set in a landscape dominated by glaciers and the peaks of the Mont-Blanc massif.
This configuration makes Chamonix a unique destination, particularly appreciated by experienced skiers and lovers of wide open spaces.
Why choose Chamonix Mont-Blanc?
Chamonix offers a unique atmosphere, blending a spirit of adventure, city life, and alpine culture. Bars, restaurants, international spots, and sporting and cultural events shape the life of the resort, all within a spectacular natural setting.
It is a destination that appeals as much for its energy as for the power of its landscapes, with constant views of the Mont-Blanc massif.
