General Terms and Conditions of Sale
(SARL PEAK UP – Passe Montagne)
Article 1 – Purpose
The General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter “Terms and Conditions”) set out the rights and obligations of SARL PEAK UP – Passe Montagne and its customers/members regarding the sale of the following goods and services: Passe Montagne Subscription, Passe Montagne Card, Gift Vouchers, Ski Passes, Passe Montagne Merchandise, and Mobile Application.
Any service performed by SARL PEAK UP – Passe Montagne implies the buyer’s full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
PEAK UP – Passe Montagne: Travel Agency License No. 073180018 & Insurance Intermediary Registration No. 19002519.
Article 2 – Product Presentation
The features of the products offered for sale are presented on our website www.passemontagne.fr for ski passes and on boutique.passemontagne.fr for physical products. Photographs are not legally binding. SARL PEAK UP – Passe Montagne cannot be held liable for errors that may appear. All texts and images displayed on the websites of SARL PEAK UP – Passe Montagne are protected worldwide by copyright and intellectual property rights; any reproduction, even partial, is strictly prohibited.
No product sold on boutique.passemontagne.fr carries a commercial warranty. PEAK UP will not provide any refund beyond the legal withdrawal period.
Passe Montagne gives access to discounts available on www.passemontagne.fr and on the Passe Montagne mobile application.
The Passe Montagne subscription is nominative: you must select the number of persons and add each skier to your account by entering their full name and date of birth. The date of birth determines the ski pass rate (adult, child, senior, etc.). If the date of birth is incorrect, penalties may be applied by the ski resort. PEAK UP shall not be held liable in such cases.
Purchase of Ski Passes and Activities
Ski passes and activities (such as sledging, mountain boarding, zip lines) can only be purchased online at www.passemontagne.fr with an active Passe Montagne subscription. Each skier must physically hold a ski pass support card from the chosen ski resort or a Passe Montagne multi-resort support card (available for €3 per person). If you purchase ski pass support cards online, you must wait until you receive them by mail before purchasing ski passes. No discount will be granted at resort ticket offices.
Two options are available to purchase ski passes online:
Online Reloading: Most partner resorts allow ski pass purchase by directly reloading your support card. You can buy ski passes up to 10 minutes before skiing. No ticket office is required; your pass will be recognized at lift gates. Each skier must place the support card in a left pocket with no other objects.
ALFI Card: For ski areas of Espace Diamant, Aillons-Margériaz, and Savoie Grand Revard, you must hold a card from these domains (available for €2 if you do not already have one). The Passe Montagne multi-resort support card is not compatible. If you purchase the wrong card, no refund or cancellation will be possible.
Usage Recommendations for Ski Passes:
Verify Support Number: Ensure the support number matches the purchased ski pass.
Placement: Each skier must place their support card in a left pocket for optimal detection.
Avoid Interference: The support must be placed alone in the pocket, without other cards, keys, or metallic objects.
Storage: Store your support card in a dry place away from heat; never wash it in a washing machine.
Humidity Protection: Avoid moisture or melted snow exposure.
No Bending or Scratching: Do not fold or scratch the support card.
Avoid Extreme Temperatures: Do not expose the card to extreme cold or heat (e.g., inside a car in direct sunlight).
e-Ticket: For smaller resorts, after purchase you will receive an e-ticket by email. This must be presented at the ticket office to obtain the final ski pass.
Important:
Ski passes purchased on www.passemontagne.fr are dated and valid only on the selected date.
Multi-day passes (2 days or more) are strictly consecutive. You must specify the first skiing day.
No discounts are granted at ticket offices.
Activities Purchase
For activities, you will receive an e-ticket by email to present to the partner. Conditions of use and the expiry date are specified on the e-ticket.
Wallet, Gift Voucher, and Gift Card
Users may hold a wallet balance, gift voucher, or gift card. These payment methods are valid during a winter season. The maximum expiration date is specified on the website or document received.
Partial use of a wallet is possible, but once expired, the unused balance cannot be refunded.
Article 3 – Ski Insurance
Daily Ski Insurance
When purchasing a ski pass, daily ski insurance is systematically offered at €3.50 per day per person.
If you have subscribed insurance for certain skiers, check the “Assur’Glisse Insurance” mention next to the ski pass when entering the skier’s name. Only those individuals will be covered.
Seasonal Ski Insurance
We offer an individual seasonal ski insurance valid from the first day of a ski resort opening (generally mid-November in Val Thorens) until May 15 of the same season.
The order confirmation serves as proof of insurance. Coverage begins at the date and time of order confirmation. You are covered even if you have not yet physically received your Passe Montagne card.
You must have an active Passe Montagne subscription to use your seasonal insurance. It is not possible to subscribe to seasonal insurance without a subscription.
Cancellation of Insurance Products
Once payment is validated, neither daily nor seasonal insurance can be cancelled or refunded, even partially. In the event of early season closure due to pandemic or lift closure, no refund will be made.
Since a subscription is mandatory for insurance, cancellation of a subscription linked to an insurance contract will result in loss of coverage.
Article 4 – Subscription Validity and Automatic Renewal
The Passe Montagne subscription is valid for one winter season and one summer season. From the second consecutive year, a 50% loyalty discount applies. Once subscribed online, the subscription may be cancelled at any time but is non-refundable.
Each October 1, subscriptions are automatically renewed with a 50% loyalty discount. At registration, you provide banking information and must ensure it remains up to date.
To avoid renewal, cancellation must be made before September 30. If you cancel, you lose loyalty benefits.
A reminder email will be sent one month before renewal to allow you to cancel if desired.
Article 5 – Subscription Access Conditions
The Passe Montagne subscription is available without restriction to French residents, with no age limit. Two options exist:
Standard Offer: Public offer granting access to approximately 80 partner ski resorts.
Professional Offer (Code Pro): Reserved for SMEs, works councils, public sector staff, associations, student groups, sports clubs, and staff groups. Friends and family may also benefit. Grants access to all partner resorts (over 150).
To activate benefits, the user must enter their “Code Pro” in their Passe Montagne account.
Article 6 – Validity of Offers
Products are offered while stocks last. In case of unavailability, the client will be informed by email as soon as possible.
Discounts apply for one winter and one summer season; partnerships may change each year.
Article 7 – Prices
Prices are shown in euros, VAT included, excluding shipping costs. VAT and shipping are displayed during checkout.
SARL PEAK UP – Passe Montagne reserves the right to adjust prices or cancel an order if pricing errors occur (e.g., due to incorrect input by partner resorts).
Discounts and rebates are included in the displayed prices.
Seasonal discounts and partner resorts may change significantly from year to year. Resorts may also be removed from the catalogue.
Important:
SARL PEAK UP – Passe Montagne does not guarantee the lowest price. In rare cases, resorts may offer lower prices than those available on www.passemontagne.fr. No partial refund will be granted in such cases.
Clients are responsible for checking resort websites for alternative offers (e.g., family rates not available through Passe Montagne).
Applicable tariffs and conditions are those in force at the time of order.
Article 8 – Orders
An order is confirmed once payment is made by credit card and these Terms are accepted. Customers are invited to check order details before validation.
Confirmation is sent by email and serves as proof of contract.
Records kept by SARL PEAK UP – Passe Montagne constitute proof of order. Orders are archived under legal requirements and may be accessed by contacting Customer Service.
Article 9 – Payment Conditions
9.1 For orders on www.passemontagne.fr
Payment methods: credit card, American Express, Passe Montagne gift wallet, or Chèques Vacances Connect.
Payments are secured by PAYZEN with SSL encryption. A confirmation email follows payment (check spam folder).

Article 10 – Right of Withdrawal

Refunds are made within 30 days. Return shipping costs remain at the customer’s expense.
Article 11 – Lift Operation Interruptions
Reduced rates may be offered by resorts in case of poor weather, but only directly at resort ticket offices. No refund or compensation will be given by PEAK UP once a pass is validated at gates.
COVID Pandemic: Ski passes paid by credit card will be refunded. Passes paid by vouchers or gift wallets will be re-credited.
In case of resort closure, complaints must be submitted within 48 hours using the online form. Compensation is subject to the resort’s approval.
Article 12 – Online Sales Service Interruptions
Since www.passemontagne.fr connects to resort systems, sales may be temporarily unavailable. PEAK UP is not liable for any unavailability or price differences.
Article 13 – Ski Passes
Ski passes are strictly personal, non-transferable, dated, and valid only on the purchased date. Misuse may result in sanctions.
Refunds and Cancellations:
Unused passes are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Non-consecutive day passes must be used within the same winter season.
Certain resorts (e.g., Alfi system, Méribel Centre, Les Menuires, Serre Chevalier) do not allow cancellation or refund.
Passes may be cancelled until the day before skiing, refunded as wallet credit within 3–4 days.
Same-day cancellations before 10:00 AM are subject to 20% penalty, refunded as wallet credit.
If a support card fails at gates, customers must contact Customer Service. Replacement costs at ticket offices are not reimbursed.
Article 14 – Data Protection
Customer data is stored for order processing. In accordance with GDPR and French data protection law, customers may access, rectify, or delete their personal data by writing to SARL PEAK UP, 695 Avenue Paul Louis Merlin, 73800 Montmélian, France, or by email to sav@passemontagne.fr.
Customers will receive promotional emails (approx. 12 per year). Unsubscription is available at any time via the unsubscribe link.
